IF This, THEN What? introduces young children to one of the simplest—and most useful—forms of logic: understanding that what happens next can depend on a condition, action or rule.
Designed for ages 3–6, this Little Thinkers workbook takes children from simple, familiar cause-and-effect relationships into increasingly thoughtful IF → THEN challenges.
Children begin with questions like:
IF the ice cream is left in the sun → THEN what happens?
IF I am thirsty → THEN what should I do?
From there, they'll learn to follow rules, work backward from an outcome, sort according to a condition, predict what happens next and eventually manage two IF rules at the same time.
